    Vivo X500 Tipped to Launch This Year With an 'Upgraded' Dimensity 9500 Series Chip, Telephoto Camera

    Vivo X500 will be launched in China this year with an octa core MediaTek Dimensity 9500 series chipset, a tipster claims. This is contrary to earlier leaks, which suggested that the smartphone maker will equip the handset with the unreleased MediaTek Dimensity 9600 SoC. The chip is said to be an upgraded version of last year’s flagship Dimensity 9500 chip, internally codenamed DX5. The currently Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro are powered by the same 3nm octa core Dimensity 9500 SoC. However, reports suggest that the company might equip this year’s Vivo X500 series phones with different chipsets.
