    Samsung Details Switchable 2D/3D Display Technology That Could Come to Future Galaxy Phones

    Samsung has published a paper in Nature, the science journal, on the switchable 2D/3D display technology, which uses a metasurface lenticular lens-based solution. The South Korea-based tech conglomerate said that the metasurface lenticular lens-based solution will enable the company to bring 3D displays to future smartphones, tablets, and commercial systems to make virtual 2D images appear to be popping out of their screens. The technology would also allow users to toggle between 2D and 3D modes. A report suggests that the tech giant is expected to bring the functionality with its rumoured Samsung Galaxy S28 Ultra.
