    Apple Tap-to-Pay Vulnerability Demonstrated on Video as YouTuber Steals $10,000 From a Locked iPhone

    Apple launched the Express Transit Mode in 2019 to offer a higher level of convenience to users while travelling through buses and railways. It allows users to make payments at transit terminals without unlocking their handsets. However, a YouTuber has now demonstrated on video that a vulnerability can be exploited to steal money from an iPhone user's bank account without unlocking the phone. It uses a combination of devices and code modifications to trick the iPhone into thinking that the payment is being made at a transit terminal.
