    Apple Sued After Users Allegedly Lose $1.8 Million to Fake Bitcoin Wallet App

    Apple is facing a lawsuit in the US after three users alleged they lost a combined $1.8 million by downloading a fake Bitcoin wallet application from the App Store. The plaintiffs claim Apple failed to prevent the counterfeit app despite promoting the App Store as a secure platform. Apple said it has since removed the fake applications and developer accounts while highlighting its app review process and efforts to block fraudulent software.
